Faster connectivity across NCR
The new corridor will significantly reduce travel time for commuters across several NCR hubs. With the expressway starting at Akshardham, the revised travel times to Dehradun are:
- Delhi (Akshardham): 2.5 hours
- Ghaziabad: 2 hours 15 minutes
- Noida: 2 hours 45 minutes
- Faridabad: 3.5 hours
- Gurugram: 3.5 to 4 hours
Access to Mussoorie and Rishikesh
The expressway also improves connectivity to major tourist destinations. Travel time to Mussoorie is now about 4 hours, down from around 7 hours. Connectivity to Rishikesh and Haridwar is also improved via a dedicated spur, reducing travel time to approximately 2 hours.
